Ich habe eine Frage bevor ich das DTV Visa beantragen möchte. Ich möchte in Absprache mit meinem Arbeitgeber 3-4 x im Jahr einreisen, jeweilige Dauer 1-3 Monate ca. 6 Monate im Jahr insgesamt auf 3 -4 mal verteilt, später evtl. mehr. Kann das DTV VISA für jede Einreise genommen werden oder muss zusätzliches getan werden ? ( auch wenn sie kürzer als 6 Monate sind und ohne Verlängerung , also immer ca. 2 Monate hier dann wieder 2 Monate Thailand). Ich werde wenn es soweit ist in Thailand eine Wohnung dauermieten ganzjährig aber ca 3 -4 mal im Jahr hin- und her pendeln. Ist das möglich mit dem DTV oder nur 2 x im Jahr ( und an die 6 Monate mit/ohne Verlängerung halten ) ? Danke für die Info Vorab wenn es jemand gesichert weiss.
Das Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) ist ein Mehrfacheinreisevisum, das für fünf Jahre gültig ist und Aufenthalte von bis zu 180 Tagen pro Einreise ermöglicht. Das bedeutet, dass Sie Thailand mehrmals im Jahr betreten können, wobei jeder Aufenthalt bis zu 180 Tage dauern kann, ohne dass zusätzliche Genehmigungen oder Verlängerungen für kürzere Aufenthalte erforderlich sind. Wenn Sie beispielsweise planen, pro Besuch 2-3 Monate in Thailand zu bleiben, insgesamt also etwa 6 Monate pro Jahr, passt das DTV perfekt zu diesem Zeitplan. Jede Einreise erlaubt einen Aufenthalt von bis zu 180 Tagen, und Sie können während der fünfjährigen Gültigkeit des Visums mehrfach nach Thailand einreisen. Falls Sie bei einem einzelnen Besuch länger als 180 Tage bleiben möchten, haben Sie die Möglichkeit, Ihren Aufenthalt um weitere 180 Tage zu verlängern, indem Sie einen Antrag beim thailändischen Einwanderungsbüro stellen. Nach der maximalen Aufenthaltsdauer von 180 + 180 Tagen müssen DTV-Inhaber Thailand verlassen und erneut einreisen, um die Aufenthaltsdauer zurückzusetzen. Daher passt Ihr Plan, eine Wohnung in Thailand das ganze Jahr über zu mieten und 3-4 Mal pro Jahr hin- und herzureisen, gut zu den Bestimmungen des DTV. Sie können Thailand mehrmals jährlich betreten und verlassen, wobei jeder Aufenthalt bis zu 180 Tage dauern kann, ohne dass zusätzliche Visa oder Verlängerungen für kürzere Aufenthalte erforderlich sind.

Ich hätte noch zwei Fragen : Da ich evtl. einen Umzug in Deutschland plane (50 km weiter ). Wenn ich das VISA vor dem Umzug bekomme ( mit der aktuellen Adresse ) und sich ein paar Monate danach die deutsche Adresse ändert ( auch im Pass / Umzug / Ummeldung ), bleibt das VISA dann wie es ist oder muss ich neu beantragen bzw. Änderungen wegen der Deutschland Adresse machen lassen ? Ich bin ja jetzt schon oft in Thailand ( Urlaub ) 2-3 mal im Jahr die letzten Jahre, wenn ich statt Hotel dann (erstmal) eine Mietwohnung habe, muss ich bei jeder Einreise eine Registrierung machen ? Auch wenn ich immer die gleiche Adresse zu mehreren Einreisen habe ?

Hey can anyone help me with this , so I have a clothing brand in the U.S and want to move to Thailand but I don’t know if I will be able to ship my customers packages from there and run the store online. Would I have to have a work permit to run an online business from the U.S but ship the packages from Thailand? Will I be able to qualify for the DTV visa with a e-commerce business and ship my products from Thailand?
That is not remote work.. You would be operating exportation business, and would need the proper licenses, and visas. If you were drop shipping it may be a different story, but you mentioned shipping out of Thailand.
i applied for DTV got accepted very easily but once approved found damage in my passport and had to order a new one, do i need to apply from scratch since i have a new passport number?
You can try to get it transferred over. Next time take care of our documents better.
Hello,I applied for my Dtv visa once in Italy and it seems they require again bank statement (I tried 2 times but they seems don't accept my documents?! it's the only one missing to be accepted)..if I decide now to enter Thai with tourist visa..can i then receive the dtv while there ?would that require me to leave and come back or i can use it straight away without leaving the country?thanks

The biggest nonsense on Thai DTV VISA is that you need to buy plane tickets even if you do not know on what date and if they will approve your VISA and tickets should be from your country.
The renewal on this post is misleading and incorrect, requirements are passport, tm30 and proof of 500,000tb in a bank. Application fee is 1900tb
Regarding the thb 500.000 you need to have on your bank account, I see that it’s required 3 months before applying. But what about after approval of DTV? Do you have to keep thb 500.000 in your account always as long as your visa or stay in Thailand lasts?

Yes, if you can prove the clients are not inside of Thailand it should be fine.

I can prove the amount of 500,000thb through documents about income in South Korea and bank account in Thailand... What I am wondering is, can I apply for this visa in a nearby country? (Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, ... )
Yes you should be able to do this, but you would need to stay in that country for the amount of time it takes to get it approved. In some countries this can range from 3 business days to weeks.
Can you get yelow book on DTV visa ?
Check with your local amphoe/district office. It will mainly depend on them allowing it, and seems to be enforced differently across Thailand.
Can I work remotely under "soft power"?
Seems like a grey area at the moment. I think the bigger issue is if you are a tax-resident, and are properly reporting your taxes.
I hold dual citizenship (Italy/UK). I am planning to apply for a dtv e-visa using my UK passport while in Italy, as my Italian passport is about to expire. Do you foresee any issues with this? I am a bit disapointed!!! I applied from Germany for DTV for Remote Work. I added my english working contract and the other documents they ask in the webside. Each document must not be larger than 3 MB. There was no chance to add aditional documents like my remote work agreement with my company. After 2 days i got a mail "visa application has been cancelled" without any information why. I payed 350 euros for what? i am currently thinking about to give this job to my lawyer in bangkok or just go there on holiday
