A paid one-day overstay is not the story people get refused for. A long overstay is. Declare it if the form asks. Do not invent a cleaner history than the one on the stamp.

Medical, not boxing. Hospital in Bangkok sent an appointment letter for a procedure in April. Soft power list includes medical. Has a letter of appointment been enough without a school-style certificate?
Appointment letter plus the bank statements. They did not ask me to prove I was ill beyond the letter. Bring the passport name spelled the same way the hospital spelled it.
For medical, the document beside the usual set is a letter of appointment from the hospital or medical centre. Funds, passport, and photo still sit underneath that.

Update from my post. They wanted the foreign company registration legalised, on top of the employment letter. It is not on the national list. It took three weeks and it was not optional once they asked.
That is the extra layer I was worried about. National list is what they published. The window you are standing at can add paper.

Leaving does not cancel a multiple-entry visa. You get a new stamp when you come back, up to 180 days, if they admit you. The extension is for when you want to stay past the first 180 without leaving.
Did the flight. Same visa. New stamp. The group can keep its curse.

Thai soft power is the activity you were accepted for. The usual extra document is confirmation that you will attend, or a letter of appointment if it is medical. A post can ask for more than that. A vague letter is the one that gets a second email.
If I stay past 180 days in the calendar year, am I filing Thai tax on the salary from Oslo? The visa is for remote work. The tax office is a different building and they do not stamp visas.
The visa does not answer the tax question. Days in Thailand can. I stopped taking internet opinions on this and paid someone who files here. The forum will give you three answers before lunch.

Can I open a bank account with only the DTV? Bangkok Bank wanted a work permit. Kasikorn wanted a lease and the stamp. I have the stamp.
Branch, not the brand. Siam Paragon sent me away. A smaller branch the same week opened it with passport, stamp, and the condo contract. No work permit.

90 days is next Thursday. TM47 online or do I have to show up because this visa is new and the website still thinks I'm on a tourist stamp?
Online worked. Do it in the window, not the day before, and keep the TM30 from the condo. The DTV did not cancel 90-day reporting.

Husband has the DTV. I am applying as the spouse. One agent said I do not need my own 500,000. The form on the embassy site still has a money line. I am not guessing with a flight already booked.
We used a sponsorship letter from him and his statements. They did not ask me for a second 500,000. That was our post. Yours can want the letter in a format they invented that morning.

Marriage certificate had to be translated. The money argument was smaller than the translation argument.
A spouse files their own application. Bring the holder's DTV and proof of the relationship. On the money, posts have not all treated dependents the same way. A sponsorship letter is the document people are using when the spouse does not show a separate 500,000 baht. Ask the post you are filing at before you book anything.

Visa desk did not call the gym. Extension is a different desk. I'm not at the extension yet. I wouldn't treat the gym letter as a permanent hall pass.

The 500,000 dipped. I paid a deposit on a condo from the same account, it sat under the line for nine days, then I put it back. Statements for the application will show the hole. Do they need the balance every day of the three months or just at the end?
The wording I was given was a balance of at least 500,000 on the statements, not a deposit that arrived the night before. A nine-day hole is a question they are allowed to ask. I would not file until the three months look quiet.
Then I wait. The condo deposit was the hole. Putting the money back does not rewrite July.
Mine had a dip. They didn't care. I also wouldn't plan on my luck.
The published test is at least 500,000 baht, shown on bank statements, or a sponsorship letter. Posts have asked to see that the money was there across the statements, not only on the last page. A hole is something an officer can question.
